181!!

Was waiting to weigh in on Thursday...but had to share scale read 181 this am!!  8lbs gone in less than than 2 weeks!!  Yippie!!

I have no cravings!  Eating mostly raw...lots of fruits!!

I think I could live without meat.....

or at least the huge amount I've been eating! Past few days I've had little to none... maybe a bites worth at dinner and that's it! We'll see!  The more I learn about raw and 80/10/10 the more I realize it's a lifetime commitment! Detox can take months to years, but it's worth it!! Sleep, Exercise and low to no stress play big parts too! I have to work on the exercise...my toe is healing (bone spur removed) soon I should be able to wear sneaker and start walking in the am!



Tuesday May 28th
Morning: Water
9:30: Banana Strawberry Salad
11:30: Small Fresh Squeezed OJ
1pm: Green Juice- lettuce, celery, cucumber, lemon
3pm: raspberry banana ice cream  little over 2c ups worth..... so yummy specially since I was outside in the hot sun shearing the dog!
5:30:  small salad baby lettuce, toms, olives, feta evoo/ balsamic
6:30  3/4 cup of rice with lemon .  DH made  grilled steak and  sauteed bok choy which I did have a bite of.... I would have had more bok choy but the girls love it and goggled it up before I got to it!

Happy Memorial Day!



Sunday May 27th Log  I had a huge headache last night...but it's was gone in the morning!

Morning: Water No Tea all day!!
9:30 Big Strawberry and Banana Salad!
1:00: Half watermelon.... took me hours to eat this!
5:00:  Small bowl of cherries!
7pm : Small salad with olives/feta/toms & small amount of evoo and balsamic vinegar
7:30:  1 Ear of Corn w/ a bit of organic butter.
8pm: one small bite of organic grass fed burger

I'm not having any cravings...even made banana bread yesterday for Liv...nada!  Also still not feeling very hungry!   I don't want to measure my food... I just want to trust my body!

What I want! ♥

I want optimal health!!   I want to continue to enjoy life to the fullest,  till my non physical being is ready to expand beyond my physical body.  So that's what's my motivation!  My journey is to gradually work my way to eating  mostly 90% raw, simple whole foods!  I do not think that one size fits all....lots of different theories in the raw community alone...it's confusing!  Some say eat TONS of fruit and a bit of greens, mostly lettuce and that's all ya need.  Some say Juicing and Colonics, others say NO WAY, Never!!  I'm currently reading 80/10/10...interesting and I'll comment when I'm finished reading.  I will say I'm not an athlete nor do I wish to become one!  I'm rereading Raw Food Life Force Energy by Natalia Rose, lots of things in it resonate with me...   most strongly eating light to heavy and correct food combining both for optimal digestion.  So my journey is being...


Sunday May 26th Log
Morning: Water, Green Juice- green lettuce head, cucumber, celery and lemon.  Tea w/lemon
noon:4 bananas while out and about
1pm: few strawberries while cutting some up for dd and small carrot and apple juice
3:30:  Few more  strawberries(6)  (5)blackberries and  fresh squeezed oj 2 oranges
5pm: 1apple 1 banana before 1 mile walk
7pm: small spinach salad with fresh squeezed oj as dressing
8:30: Grilled zucchini and small golden potatoes, one small bite of grilled organic chicken

I had a slight headache for most of the day. I did drink water in between all meals

This is where I stared!

I've started a new journey towards better health as I approach middle age!  For years I eaten what I would consider a whole foods low carb type of diet...now I'm now doing raw till dinner than a small portion of cooked whole/real foods .  I have been juicing for over a year now and love it!! especial my green juice in the am!!  The biggest change is all the delicious fruit I'm eating now!! Oh how I missed those juicy jewels!  My goal is to be 150lbs by the time I turn 50 in April of next year! I'm doing update videos on youtube  One week in and I'm down 5lbs!!

Wanted to start this blog to share what I'm eating and how I'm feeling and living!!

Morning: Water, Glass of  cold tea with lemon and Green juice made from romaine lettuce/cucumber/celery/lemon
12.31pm  Banana Strawberry Salad made with about 3big bananas and 4 HUGE Organic Strawberries-I've never seen organic strawberries this big!!
1pm 1 bad mango...Yuck!!
3;30  Fruity Guacamole with some celery and orange pepper .  Recipe on my youtube channel
4:55 5 raw almonds 4 dates
6:30 Dinner: One Pyrex 2.5L bowl full of salad!  Green from garden and organic green leaf, topped with cukes, peppers, celery, tomatoes,olives and a bit of feta, Dressing organic olive oil n balsamic vinegar- YUMMY!
